Just a few thoughts about the current US administration and it's ideas..... this guy kind of represents my idea of the Bush administration's intellect.....

"The purpose of separation of church and state is to keep forever from these shores

the ceaseless strife that has soaked the soil of Europe in blood for centuries."

War doesn't determine who is right,
War determines who is left!

"The overarching principle of fundamental justice that applies here is this: before the state can detain people for significant periods of time, it must accord them a fair judicial process."
CHIEF JUSTICE BEVERLEY McLACHLIN, of Canada, in a ruling striking down a law that allowed the indefinite detention of terrorism suspects.

Seems Canada got it right, but the US government doesn't quite understand what our "civil rights" are all about!

Wild Fact About Me As an Air Force brat, I lived in 7 houses in three states (Massachusetts, Louisiana, and Wyoming, then back to Massachusetts) all by the time I turned six years old in the first grade!!
My Philosophy
What Gives Me Hope Seeing young children who do not hold the biases and prejudices of the adults in their world. It is too bad that adults are not forced to learn from the children -- kids don't see color, religion, ethnicity, etc -- until adults point it out to them. If kids ran the world, things would be so much better!!
If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by Provide total health care to everyone regardless of their ability to pay and regardless of pre-existing conditions. In addition, mental illnesses would be covered the same way that physical illnesses are covered, and catastrophic care would also be available. No one would have to worry about whether or not they can afford to buy food or their medicines...universal health care for everyone would be a given.
