About Me I am a published author of inspirational books and blog articles, which offer guidance to help people compassionately transform, for the better, their individual life, personal relationships, and society. My published books and blog articles focus primarily upon the process of developing deeply satisfying, genuinely caring, psychologically healthy, human relationships, with empathetic good communication, true love, and experiential intimacy. My writings also discuss how those kinds of relationships, long with related spiritual, psychological, and experiential insights that I discuss, can serve as a basis of holistic healing of troubled emotional feelings, greater emotional wellness, spiritual awareness, and productive creative insights in any area of inquiry or endeavor.

These are my two books (written with my late father, Max Hammer, and one other co-author):

Here are generic links to my online blog articles, where links to my individual articles are listed, and where excerpts of my books are also available, free of cost:

Here is a link to a YouTube audio playlist featuring inspirational audios by me and my beloved late father, Dr. Max Hammer:

My Spirit is immortal, as everyone's spirit is, but I began this current incarnation in January 1958. At the time of my birth, the first American orbiting satellite was launched into outer space. I view this event as a metaphorical symbol of my life's meaningful purpose, "shooting for the stars", aiming to consciously manifest the greatest level of fulfillment, or inspirational peak experiencing, peak performing, and exquisitely lovely or beautiful products that are intrinsically embedded in the spiritual reality of life as love, and are therefore realistically attainable. I unselfishly dedicate this purposive intention not only for my own personal benefit, but also for the benefit of all living beings. Like a powerful rocket overcoming the enormous gravitational pull of the earth, I intuitively believe that the entire human species is ultimately intended to harness the connective energy of pure unselfish spiritual love to achieve entelechy or continued purposive evolutionary advancement of individual life, personal relationships, society, and the biosphere. I am exploring how this synergistic or co-creative process of caring connections can heal or overcome much unnecessary suffering and evil negativity, and enable humanity to return Home together to the Divine Source from which love, life, and limitless blessings flow, which is a Great Mystery Supreme Grandeur that surpasses all limited conceptions.

I am currently retired from my career as an adjunct university instructor in Religious Studies/Interdisciplinary Humanities, but I still occasionally teach adult education classes focusing on Religious Studies, Caring Human Relationships, and Individual Psychological Development. I am also an inspirational writer.

My personal lifestyle and ethical values are wholesome, grounded in my sense of integrity and viewing myself as a highly evolved "old soul" who has the ability to appreciate the truly precious aspects of life. I am a sincere, trustworthy, compassionate, warmhearted, empathetic, intuitive, unselfish, emotionally generous, open-minded, cheerful, relaxed, good-humored, tolerant, non-judgmental, accepting, person. I treasure deeply caring relationships with family and friends. I would like to make friends with other members of this network who share at least some of my basic values, as discussed above.

In my writing and dialogues with other people, I like to explore how inspirational insights and new productive breakthroughs, in any field of inquiry or endeavor, can be enhanced through a process of heartfelt caring empathetic communion with other individuals, the world of nature, one's own preferred media of creative expression, or any other activity or situation. This involves a process of unrestricted openness to spontaneously exploring and discovering the experiential truth of oneself and other individuals, from moment to moment.

Relatedly, I have a strong interest in discussing ways of developing a deeply caring, inclusive, compassionately nurturing, sense of local and global community, grounded in a sense of sacred kinship or family feeling between all people, and all living beings. This also involves developing greater awareness of the natural relatedness between all living beings, phenomena, and aspects of reality.

I invite dialogue with anyone who resonates with this message and vision. Together, we can change this world for the better, because the force of Love that flows through our caring connection is a sublime fountain of limitless, inexhaustible, true possibilities of goodness and blessing that are inherent to the reality of life.

Wild Fact About Me I am a person of considerable depth, sensitivity, and sincerity. I can be very playful, funny, spontaneous, and even zany, at times, although I also have a rather serious side.
My Philosophy Our real self is a relational self; the non-relational selfish ego is not our real self. Therefore, we are most substantially enriched by what we unselfishly contribute to the lives of other individuals. True self-discovery and self-enhancement comes from unselfishly serving others, rather than from narcissistic self-preoccupation or presumptive self-definition. Relatedly, the only way to discover what is most fully alive in oneself is to help bring out what is most fully alive in other individuals.
What Gives Me Hope What brings me hope is recognizing that there is an essential goodness in everyone, no matter how deeply buried and dormant it may be. I recognize that, at some level, everyone is, truly, beautiful in their own special way, and I greatly enjoy bringing out the special inner beauty and creative muse of other individuals.
If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by I would encourage people to recognize that the selfish "me" attitude does not bring real and lasting happiness, whereas the unselfish relational "we" attitude does bring great happiness, in feeling deeply connected to others, in a true and deep sense of community.

Quotation 1) Martin Buber ("The Way of Response"): "All real living is meeting."

2) St. Exupery ("The Little Prince"):
"Only the heart sees clearly, because what is essential is not visible to the eyes."

3) Lakota Instructions for Living:
"Friend, do it this way-that is,
whatever you do in life,
do the very best you can
with both our heart and mind.

And if you do it that way,
the Power of The Universe
will come to your assistance,
if your heart and mind are in Unity.

When one sits in the Hoop Of The People,
one must be responsible because
All Of Creation is related.
And the hurt of one is the hurt of all.
And the Honor of one is the honor of all.
And whatever we do affects everything in the universe.

If you do it that way-that is,
if you truly join your heart and mind
as One-whatever you ask for,
that's the Way It's Going to Be."

I saw John Two Hawks Sat. night and what a great evening. He is off his tour and actually is taking time to be here in FL and did a small concert, 30 of us, at a Yoga studio. Talk about a up close and personal experience, I could hardly believe my good fortune. After the show he spent time talking with each of us, I even got a hug. Nice man song playing is one of his. He has made 26 albums and movie tracks too.
