About Me how in the world can i describe myself in one little box? let's see.... i love the summertime, but my sunburn never seems to turn into a tan. i am irish, therefore i am stubborn. strangely enough, i refuse to drink beer unless it's dyed green and it's st. patrick's day - for the other 364 days of the year, i prefer to stick to my trusty gin & tonics. i may be shy at first, but wait until you see how crazy i really am. i have found a new love for starbucks mocha cafe lattes. i give some damn good advice, if i do say so myself.

now that i have finally finished grad school, i'm now embarking on my first year in the real world. hurrayy for me! i'm now an elementary school special education teacher, but my true passion is in school counseling (which is what i have my masters in).

all in all, i'm just a super fun person.

Wild Fact About Me i suppose this would be the appropriate time to point out that i am in a wheelchair, and have been all my life. i'm guessing this might be something that throws some people off - but as my friends and family can tell you, it's never stopped me from doing anything i've wanted in life.

...and as you'll (hopefully) read from the rest of my profile, i'm still just as silly/smart/normal/witty/crazy/awesome as the rest of 'em.

What/who changed my life and why okay, this might sound silly, but my answer is the movie Garden State. at the time i first saw it, it just felt like that dialogue in that movie had a window into what i was feeling about life.

(pretty much sums up life, doesn't it?)
