Our 6 year old cat Michaelangelo, 'Mic', recently became anorexic for some unknown reason. This  caused us to take him to A & M University Medical Emergency Hospital for Small Animals on Tuesday. They ran many tests and ended up inserting an E-tube for feeding and easy medicating purposes. This has been quite the learning experience and no small feat. Three days in and we're both exhausted and still trying to adjust.

Does anyone have words of wisdom, pointers, etc. for our transition back to a hopefully somewhat normal life. The goal is to encourage Mic to eat again and consistently on his own so that the etube can be removed and he can have the best quality of life. He is a very happy, playful, active, indoor/outdoor and laid back cat who loves people, and children. He has been sad because of this change, any suggestions?

I love the fact that a science professor gave us extra credit for joining Care2 years ago and taking action! What a great way to impact our future! Kudos to science, education, and teachers who are wise enough to tell their students how to live better!
