5 People More Bullied Than Melania Trump — by the Trumps Themselves

Melania Trump made plenty of eyeballs roll when she said she could be “the most bullied person in the world” during a recent ABC News interview. Many of us had the same reaction earlier this year when she announced her oddly named, anti-cyberbullying “Be Best” campaign, since she’s married to someone who qualifies as the biggest cyberbully in the world.

The first lady, who’s apparently acquired her husband’s penchant for hyperbole, is far from being the world’s most bullied person. The following are just a few of the people who better deserve this distinction — and in these particular cases, the ones doing the bullying are Melania’s own husband and even the first lady herself.

1. Barack Obama

Just like her husband, Melania was part of the racist birther movement that insisted President Barack Obama was born in Kenya, not Hawaii. While a guest on the Joy Behar Show in 2011, she asked that Obama show his birth certificate.

That same year, Donald Trump also questioned Obama’s educational credentials. “I heard he was a terrible student, terrible,” he said at the time. “How does a bad student go to Columbia and then to Harvard? … Let him show his records.”

2. Hillary Clinton

Trump’s insulting tweets regarding the woman he likes to call “Crooked Hillary” are legendary. Here are just a few highlights – er, lowlights.

It’s not restricted to cyberbullying — during the second presidential debate in October 2016, Trump tried to physically intimidate Clinton by creepily standing directly behind her as he stalked her around the stage. During that debate he called her “the devil.” During the final debate, as Clinton answered a question, he called her “such a nasty woman.”

3. Dr. Christine Blasey Ford

After Brett Kavanaugh was confirmed as a Supreme Court justice, Trump mocked Dr. Christine Blasey Ford, who’d bravely testified that she’d been sexually assaulted by Kavanaugh in high school — and has had to leave her home due to all the death threats she’s received for doing so. During an Oct. 3 rally in Mississippi, as his supporters laughed, Trump – who’d said Ford’s testimony was “compelling” just a couple days before — performed what he apparently thought was an impression of Ford during her testimony. “‘How did you get home?’ ‘I don’t remember,’” he said. “‘How’d you get there?’ ‘I don’t remember.’” Et cetera. If he or his GOP cronies had actually listened to Ford’s testimony, they’d know that she had, in fact, answered all those questions.

4. Elizabeth Warren

Trump began bullying U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren, who says she’s of Native American ancestry, during his presidential campaign in 2016 by referring to her as “Pochahantas.”

He even used this slur during a November 2017 White House event honoring Native American World War II veterans – while standing next to a portrait of President Andrew Jackson, who signed the Indian Removal Act in 1830 that forced Native Americans from their ancestral lands. (It should be no surprise that Trump considers Jackson to be his hero.)

5. Ted Cruz

During the 2016 presidential campaign, Trump made fun of Texas Senator Ted Cruz’s wife and also disparaged his father. After an ad from a super PAC unaffiliated with Cruz shamed Trump’s wife for once posing nude (which, to be fair, should indeed be considered as bullying Melania), Trump threatened to “spill the beans” on Heidi Cruz. When Ted called him a coward, Trump retweeted an unflattering photo of Heidi Cruz side-by-side with Melania.

Trump also accused the senator’s father of helping with the assassination of President John F. Kennedy after the National Enquirer claimed there was a photo of Rafael Cruz with Lee Harvey Oswald. “I mean, what was he doing — what was he doing with Lee Harvey Oswald shortly before the death? Before the shooting?” Trump told Fox News in May 2016. “It’s horrible.” And, of course, Trump mocked Ted Cruz, too.

Amazingly, despite Trump’s horrible treatment of him and his family members, Cruz has now become a stalwart supporter of the president. And, as he has frequently done before, Trump has also apparently changed his mind about Cruz.

There are many more people who belong on this list but can’t be included due to space limitations. Who do you think has been more bullied than Melania Trump – or do you agree with her? Sound off in the comments below.

Nicole Heindryckx, I wouldn't call Twitler a maggot-he's more like a SLUG! And I've renamed Bermuda grass "Trump grass." Why? It takes physical aggression to remove, it doesn't politely stay within bounds, it rushes right over the spot where you just removed it from, and it keeps popping back when you think you FINALLY got rid of it, just like Twitler!

Melania Trump may be bullied - but - come on now - most bullied???!!! I think not. I think many more people are more bullied than she is. I think her cyber bullying campaign is a very worthwhile cause BUT should START with HER HUSBAND!!!!

@ DIANE M : N.O.B.O.D.Y. is obliging you to read any of the articles written under the heading "POLITICS". There are plenty other subjects which you can read and comment on. I have to pick out the articles of which I think they interest me. If after a couple of sentences, I have no further interest, I stop reading, and switch to another topic. Is THAT IMPOSSIBLE FOR YOU ?? Animals, women, LGTB, healthy living, and most certainly I am still forgetting some. If I had to read / comment on ALL the articles, I would need at least 3 x 24 hours a day !!
Starting a petition against Care 2 ??? Woman, you are totally INSANE !!! If you are NO longer interested in this site : stop your membership. And don't bother us any longer, because that's STUPID !!!

Someone compared the POTUS with a maggot. Oh NO !! A maggot is a very useful creature. People and/or animals who have no immediate access to medical assistance should be happy there are maggots on their open wounds. Maggots only take away / eat the bad, rotten tissue / fish / flesh and an injured animal, so that the infection is stopped more rapidly than if there were no maggots on / in your wounds. They NEVER eat the non affected / sound tissue of animals or fish. So, it is the beginning of a healing process. Of course, the wound must be disinfected /cleaned properly and antibiotics must prevent that more tissue is damaged / dead. So, love the maggots. Which I can not say for the TRUMPS !!
