Healthy Appetizer: Spirulina Tapenade

Looking for a new way to use spirulina? This garlicky spread is just the ticket. A thick layer over some lightly toasted baguette alongside herbs and crudité makes a great healthy appetizer. Or use the tapenade to add some oomph to any sandwich.

Yield: 1/4 cup
Active Time: 3 minutes
Total Time: 3 minutes

2 Tablespoons spirulina
1 Tablespoon turmeric
1 Tablespoon tamari or coconut aminos
2 teaspoons ground or freshly grated ginger
3 to 4 cloves of garlic, minced or grated
Olive oil

Stir together the spirulina, turmeric, tamari, ginger, and garlic in a small bowl. Pour in olive oil, mixing to incorporate, until a medium-thick paste is formed and the tapenade reaches the desired texture.

In the past they abolish democracy with tanks.
Now they do it with banks :)

looks interesting, I haven't had spirulina, I'm sure it's good but it's a bit pricey for a small amount
