Do you think that our country (or at least our state, if not our county) should quickly move to save our swiftly declining bee population-- by smartly following in the footsteps of Germany and France by having our state's Department of Environmental

Once again, I did not sign because I disagree with the policies of Change, org. But being a bee keeper myself I know the bees are under threat and I know the causes. The problem is I do not see any decrease in GMO's, pesticides, or cell phones in the future. I don't know if anyone can save the bees. If you lose these pollinators, agriculture will suffer, possibly threatening the lives of all animals and people who need to consume fruits and vegetables. The parasite that is living in the bee hives right now is causing Colony Collapse Disorder. It is only a matter of time til disaster strikes agriculture on a world wide basis. This is a very grim story, Cher.

Signed this one Cher this Morning and forwarded...

While I am not crazy to be chased by some African bees, the ones that we used to have here in California help to take care of all of the flowers, etc. Haven't seen very many lately, gotta think it is all of the pesticides.

Bees are EXTREMELY VITAL to life on earth. Approximately one of every 3 or 4 mouthfuls of food a person eats is thanks to a pollinator. Without them, the human species would perish.

Signed and noted. we recently bought a "bee house" and hung it in some trees facing south. Waiting 4 bees now! We also plant bee friendly flowers n crops and NEVER use insecticides. (or slug pellets -- they kill birds n frogs 2nd hand.)

135. Jim Phillips I think the Environmental Protection Agency would be well advised to put an immediate emergency ban on the neonicotinoid seed-treatment pesticides, on all insecticides, pesticides, GMO seeds.

Pledge and Petition signed.

TY, Cher.

A crucial step to be taken; thanks Cher.

All the elements of the environment are necessary for the preservation of the whole.
Bees play therein a tremendously important role: we indeed owe them our pataoes, our wine, our wonderful flowers...let alone the delicious and healthy honey.
