The leaking oil well in the Timor Sea off Northern Australia is now a major environmental disaster, spanning at least 15,000km2 and threatening marine wildlife, including whales and dolphins.

Oh great..someone wasnt doing their jobs. Malfuntioning parts, pipes whatever once again killing our precious wildlife our seas and our planet/

Someone definitely needs a kick in the seat of the pants for this mess... terrible that these lovely creatures have to live in our sewerage oil spills

We need better control and strong penalties on oil spills, and disposal of non biodegradable debris.
Please help save our Oceans and our Sea Life.

And this disaster is not making a big noise in the news on TV that is. They should be carrying on about it and being on scene etc etc instead we hear all about the silly little petty things they can think of.

Why have I not heard about this until now? This is a major environmental disaster but there is no mention of it in the news!!! This just shows that the search for fossil fuels and delicate environments do not mix!
