My gawd, could they have not used loud noises to get them to go back to the sanctuary? To shoot all of them is so sad. People need to work with animals such as these, not KILL them. And what of the dens and the pups left behind? OMG! So sad!

Wolves killed because of human negligence once again! Too infuriating for words!! I'm not even sure that I believe that the wolves tore down the fence.

I'm having trouble believing those darling wolves tore down the fence too. Why would they suddenly do that? As for 'having' to kill them, that's inexcusable. Have they not heard of tranquilizer darts? If wild animals are going to be kept in captivity (don't get me started on that subject) then those responsible should be just that - RESPONSIBLE, which means taking adequate precautions to prevent this kind of thing happening.
They think it's great having wild animals held in captivity for human enjoyment and for the money they generate but they don't hesitate to kill the poor creatures who had no choice at being captives.
This is sickening behaviour from human intervention - AGAIN!!!
