WWF Russia reported fewer tiger tracks in their habitat this winter, but Vladimir Putin alone can't save this stunning animal

Russia needs stronger laws to protect Tigers and their habitat. And above all, it needs to eliminate corruption, at least when it comes to protecting animals.
I am Russian and I know how things go in my country.
BTW, there was a video of Putin shooting a tiger on the internet. So yeah, he supports conservation alright. Such a man.

Noted. The amur is a beautiful cat .Every effort must be made to save him.Like Marina I find it hard to believe that Putin is a great humanitarian and animal lover.Help for the tiger needs to come from other scources both local and international.

Noted. I hope and pray that we all can make a collective effort and save these and the other endangered Tiger species of the world. It would be a very sad world without wild Tigers in it.

thank you. noted. Russia could do much to preserve and protect the tiger. Unfortunately their animal ( and human ) rights record is not very good. I hope that the momentum and desire to protect and save the tiger carries on. They could be leading lights in animal conservation with a little encouragement from people like Putin. I wish that the countless billionaire Russians could see the good they could do by offering some funding and some public encouragement for animal welfare.

IF WE FAIL TO SAVE ANIMAL SPECIES OF OUR BELEAGUERED PLANET, WE ULTIMATELY FAIL TO SAVE OURSELVES. RUSSIAN ANIMALS ARE HORRIFYINGLY UNDER-REPRESENTED DUE TO GOVERNMENT APATHY AND UNDERGROUND CORRUPTION. DEMOCRACY MAY HAVE HELPED THE WALLS OF RUSSIAN COMMUNISM CRUMBLE, BUT IT HAS RESULTED IN MASS BLACK MARKET CORRUPTION AND WIDESPREAD ANIMAL/HUMAN EXPLOITATION. THE ANIMALS IN RUSSIA, AS IN SO MANY OTHER PARTS OF THE WORLD, DESPERATELY NEED OUR HELP.
