Illegal logging threatens forests, wildlife and communities in countries like Indonesia and in the Congo Basin. But almost 20% of the timber entering the UK is estimated to be from illegal sources. We need your help to make sure the UK challenges

Illegal logging needs to be curbed, and ideally stopped. We have to stop buying these products. The recent amendment to the US Lacey Act may help - I hope it is being well enforced.

I sometimes wonder where a lot of the paper in New Zealand comes from. Whether it might have been from illegally logged rainforests in the Pacific area.
