After 13 years of serving as a Potawatomi Zoo ambassador, Ivory, the Potawatomi ZooâEUR(TM)s beloved 18 year old White Bengal Tiger, was humanely euthanized Monday afternoon following a period of physical decline and decline in her quality of life due to old

This truly makes me cry. There are so few white tigers left in the world, the argument could be made that she was safer in the zoo. But, had she been able to run free and know the joys of life she could have gifted the world with more of her species. Ivory, you are finally free. Run like the wind, roll in the grass and let your spirit open the hearts and minds of humans to preserve, rather than destroy, wildlife.
