Beaten Ocelot Successfully Recovers From Jaw Surgery

Alik, the 8-month-old female ocelot that veterinarians believe was beaten with a metal pipe, is successfully recovering from surgery to repair her broken jaw.

Glad she's recovering. My first question was "where"... Costa Rica. Next, of course, after "will she live?" is "for what purpose was she attacked?'

I can't say she's lucky, but she's young and she's a cat. In the profession we have a saying, *Put two pieces of cat in the same room and they'll heal.*

so what happened to the morons that beat her? Of course she is going to get into the hen house..she is a wild animal doing what wild animals do to chickens. duh.

What a prize example to their children these specimens are. What is wrong with humanity that we can do such things. I would tar and feather these creatures.
