Often it is the little things that make a difference.

I hope to keep my current smart phone for a long time - its predecessor, a flip-open cell phone, served me for a decade. When I am ready to upgrade, I will make sure that the old phone is properly recycled.

Thank you. Already do as suggested. Have always been against overconsuming. My cell phone is of the simple type, for actually I need it only in case of emergency. Whenever an electric/electronic appliance is unoperable I recycle it in a store nearby that specializes in it.
