Less than 1% of the earthâEUR(TM)s water supply is fresh water that we can actually access and consume. The rest is salt water (97%) and trapped in icebergs (2%).

I have the same problem Sweetie! They just don't get it. I have tried talking to them but to no avail.

Is there a way to post a flyer mentioning saving water up in a local area? Like where you pick up the mail? I do my part. We've had to conserve water for many years now, due to our drought problem and no rain for many years.. Thanks Cher

No local area Colleen & we have individual letter boxes!
i have reported them to the water authority but because we don't have restrictions (i don't understand why not!) & because they are earning heaps from us they don't care!!!

Of course they somehow found out & now i'm targeted with their hatred & gossip!!

After watching a million movies, documentaries etc, what I notice is that USA houses have enormous amounts of lawn. Lawn that is never used for sitting or playing on, it's purely cosmetic. Planting native shrubs and ground covers would go a long way to conserving water. It would save time, fertiliser and petrol too.

Animae, I'm surprised you don't have restrictions! I would get a heavy fine if I did that in WA.

Really, this one sometimes is about common sense only. Animae, I have the same problem! My neighbor across the street does that on concrete! Some people are just stupid and/or ignorant.
