But visiting the center, where she hoped she would get some help, turned into a nightmare. The place was packed and since there were no chairs she decided to sit on the floor with her son

I see fault on both sides here...yes, the police could handle things differently, but yes, so could Ms. Headley. I'm disabled, yet when I've been in places that required waiting and no chair, I wouldn't throw a fit when asked to move. Did Ms. Headley even try approaching an employee to say, "Hey, I have a baby and really need a place to sit, can someone get us a chair?" or did she just do her own thing, then go into hysterics?

I signed. Joanna, the article that I saw said she had been sitting on the floor for 4 hours before she was told that she couldn't do that. Nobody deserves to be treated like that! I know that there are plenty of good people who work in social services and employees that try to be kind and helpful. I also know that many are happy to treat people who need help like crap, simply because they think they can get away with it.
