This is a particularly sad case. Decent people in the whole neighbourhood being harassed by two dogs who have the misfortune to have an unfit owner. She has animals that for whatever reason have become aggressive and pose a danger to everyone including small children. This is not the dogs fault but the owner and this is NOT an acceptable situation for people just trying to live their lives. If a dog is territorial or may bite and is menacing people then it is certainly up to the owner to prevent this. In this case it appears that the owner is not vigilant and is incapable of caring for these dogs properly and should benefit from basic dog behaviour education or be banned from owning dogs until she gets that education.

It's tough to know who to believe in this
one; it's a he-said-she-said. But most
assuredly, the owner should NOT have been
allowing her dogs to roam free. Especially
with the horrible reputation that pits have
these days. Many people are frightened just
at the sight of a pit bull, and perhaps the
dogs were reacting to people's fear. Who knows?
Samantha's right, it's just a sad case all around.
Thanks, Cher.
