With spring fast approaching, state parks will start seeing a rise in weekend hikers and bikers. The trails that spent all winter with only Mr. Raccoon and/or the occasional die-hard like myself crossing it's path, are going to be bustling with foot

I must say that as a former mountain bike racer, I learned about the importance of "following the rules" when out on the trails from my fellow cyclists. I think that whether or not one lives near or visits a National Park,there is something to be learned from this article. It is about respecting your environment, even if it's one that is thousands of miles from view. Thx, Cher

When people visit anywhere they should take their litter home home with them or dispose of it in the first bin they come to.
