Horses Killed in Interstate Mishap

A highway was shut down in Susquehanna County after horses got loose and wandered into traffic. State police said four horses and a donkey got loose from a nearby farm. Three of the animals were killed.

I don't see how the guy didn't see a herd of horses in the road!! It's awful and the blood all over! What a tragedy! Poor Horses!

OMG!! The awful Hell they went though!! Some people need to use extra protection if your going to have any large animals! Even keep reg. cks. of their areas!! I personally yrs ago had alone had to heard serval cows off a hwy!Then some people stopped and finally helped,Crikey that was an adventure for me! So what's the news on the owner? Anyone know? Thanks Cher!

This is an awful accident. Do you know if the surviving horse and donkey are ok now? I would presume they'd be suffering trauma for a very long time.
