Consumerist named the Hilton in Washington DC the third most prostitution-friendly hotel in the city, based on the phone record of the DC Madme. Companies like Hilton have the power to help prevent the forced prostitution of children on their watch.

Signed. Thanks Naoko. They don't care what goes on in their hotels as long as they keep raking in the big bucks!

I was surprised about the other Hiltons in other places, but not China. Those Communist don't care about their people. They've shown it over and over. I hope I haven't offended any Chinese here but you wouldn't be hrtr because China just Banned all cell-phones and Internet, so I guess you're not reading this. Rest assured we out here in a free world will continue to fight for your rights. Peace out.

i received the email below just after signing the petition from CorporateResponsibilityInquiries@hilton.com.

I am responding to your email regarding the Prevention of Child Prostitution in Hilton Worldwide hotels.
On behalf of Hilton Worldwide, we absolutely and outright condemn all forms of human trafficking and commercial exploitation, including the sexual exploitation of men, women or children.
By way of example, we support the American Hotel & Lodging Associationís position which is as follows:
U.S. laws on the state and federal level make such activity a crime and apply to all businesses and persons within their jurisdiction, including lodging. establishments. Moreover, lodging establishments are often subject to licensing requirements which prohibit the knowing use of their premises for illegal or immoral purposes. All employees are expected to comply and are encouraged to alert the authorities if there is suspected trafficking in their hotel.
At the global level, Hilton Worldwide is supportive of ECPAT and its principles and objectives. All responsible businesses and individuals would support the concept of vigilance in this area. Our soon to be issued Global Code of Conduct will specifically address the exploitation of minors and will be rolled out globally to all Hilton Worldwide team members.
We are familiar with the Code of Conduct for the Protection of Children from Sexual Exploitation in Travel and Tourism. One of the aspects of the ECPAT Code that gives us some concern is the criteria for providing information to travelers. Our team members are not legal experts, and we have millions of customers from all over the world staying in our properties. We do not educate guests on other areas of international law and feel that education is best left to law enforcement, governments and non-governmental organizations. Our Code of Conduct addresses a range of human rights issues, including the exploitation of children and, as a founding member of the International Tourism Partnership (http://www.tourismpartnership.org/), we play an active role in shaping our industryís approach to human rights generally.
I hope the above provides you with information to assure you that Hilton Worldwide takes the issue of the commercial exploitation of any individual for sexual or other commercial purposes extremely seriously.

Yours Respectfully,
Jennifer Silberman
Vice President, Corporate Responsibility Hilton Worldwide

ANY company who permits this sordid inhumane and depraved business should have their company licenses pulled from them and Hilton should be severely fined. If it was money that was the main motivation behind this sordid business then vast sums of money must be taken from them in the form of Heavy penalties. Companies only feel pain when they suffer a severe financial loss.
