Our world is getting so ugly. Fences never work. It's just not the way. thx Beth

There's a saying that "fences make good neighbors", and there's probably truth to that. But while it may not be the best solution out there for these masses coming from mostly Islamic countries and flooding Europe and now the U.S., I'd like to hear a better one, depending on the circumstances.

Shared on facebook and twittersphere.

The world is becoming seriously deranged, sick and apathetic. This couldn't have been reported in a more aprt journal, the WALL street journal.

Anything that partitions and DIVIDES peoples of the world is a silly, puerile, juvenile, arrogant and naive approach to resolving tensions and problems.

A number of Communist countries had walls to keep their population from getting out.

More and more countries are building border walls/fences to keep people/invaders of some sort out.

Countries will likely not make such an expensive undertaking without good reason. Many countries are without question being invaded, and the primary reason for a country/sovereignty to exist is to protect its citizens from any number of threats.

Many times the dangers of not keeping out invasions are far worse that any divisions that they may create. We are too used to PC-think.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts.

Oh, I understand completely the reason for building a wall around yourself, or a country, but it IS irrational and barmy. The vain part of the ego in people is incredibly sensitive.

If you know that people want to enter your country to kill or enslave its citizens, send them to other places and take all of their possessions (which has happened many times in history), why in the world is that Irrational? (I 'fess up that I don't know what barmy is.)

If you lived in a neighborhood that had a high crime rate, and people's homes were being broken into, the owners tied up and shot, their jewelry stolen, would it be vanity/ego to put bolts on their doors or an alarm system in?

Do you realize what Muslim migrants are doing in terms of crime statistics shooting sky high in terms of attacking the natives, rape, welfare, free housing, prostituting non-Muslim girls, and there's more.

We've been posting articles on this for a few years now. The statistics are horrendous, and the issues more numerous than I can post here for now.

But, first, please do respond to the first scenario.

Based on what's been said so far, actually, defending against this migrant flow might be a very good option, to instead taking in every person going.

As hard as that might be to take and put into operation, one major issue is migrants fleeing from a dangerous and highly unstable situation, which I can sympathize with, but, that root cause somehow needs tackling.

On to your last point Beth, yes, absolutely to defending your own home if there are high incidences of crime.

Okay, good points.

Insofar as the second paragraph. There have truly been some very needy immigrants that DON'T have any intention of deliberately undermining the country financially, politically, religiously, and so forth. Let's say like all those Christians in the Middle East that are being slaughtered by the 10s of thousands. THEY deserve to be welcomed into our borders.

Or refugees from a number of Communist countries, countries where one indigenous tribe is genocidally attacking another indigenous tribe. Yes, those people should be let in.

However, even when Muslims are fleeing war and persecution from their countries (and coming tot he West, they are fleeing from other Muslims, e.g., Sunnis killing Shias, and visa versa. They are rabidly dysfunctional in terms of obeying the norms and values of our society, and they want to usurp our societies -- what the West has struggled for hundreds, if not thousands of years to arrive at where we are in terms of democracies.

These people LOATHE democracy (although some genuinely want to get away from Islam, and that is a tragedy that there are so many, that they can't). Signs and speeches abound that democracy, freedom of speech, liberty are completely incompatible with Islam.

More disturbing are the trends as the Islamic population grows ever larger. They mostly self-ghetto-ize. I'll have to find the statistics by Dr. Peter Hammond, based on historic records of this.

There is a group called Achmadi Muslims, who are

One exception, BTW, are the poor Achmadi Muslims, who are attacked by the other major Muslim groups, because they believe in a prophet AFTER Muhammad, and that is considered heretical and death-worthy.

One more important thing, and I'll keep it short. It's the doctrine of Hijra.

In it's modern day meaning, it means the deliberate flooding of Muslims into non-Muslim countries to overwhelm the non-Muslim countries.

This is much, if not most, of what's happening in Europe and Australia. In fact, there was something published maybe 15 years ago (I have it somewhere) of Indonesian Muslims promising to make Australia majority Muslim in 12 years.

It's also starting to happen here..... 'nother long story.

Well, it's a little like CARE2 deleting my posts and messages from news threads relating to CARE2 issues, and expecting I'll get the message and stop. I won't.

Nor will any Muslim ever convince me to follow their way. . . they'll die trying, metaphorically of course.

I imagine U.N.will criticize Hungary as it did us for stopping the islamic invasion and turning the boats back,.rather than do that it should try to remedy the root cause of these people leaving their countries of birth.

Beth by the way Indonesia has failed miserably in its aim to islamicise Australia ;That why those barbaric bastards murdered two of our citizens to vent their spite,

The invasion should have been stopped long ago in the U.S. but instead, they are welcomed by our Commander in Chief.

He arranges for them to come, free housing, welfare, and harassment of U.S. citizens.

Yes he does, Beth. Our Muslim president made another of his ridiculous statements the other day when he said that we should be more careful about who we allowed to leave the country. Of course, he's not in the least bothered about who enters the country. The illegal immigrants, 872,900 of which are convicted criminals, must be catered to or you're a racist. Never has any other nationality been allowed American citizenship without background checks and not required to assimilate into our culture. He's a disgrace and has turned America into a laughing stock.
