Dr. Tawfiq amide is an Egyptian doctor and also has a master's degree in psychology. In his youth was a Muslim radical terrorist organization and joined the islmsti-El 3 Al islamia, along with Dr. Ayman al zaaouri, who later became Deputy to bin Laden and Al Qaeda head. About 25 years ago introduced Dr. Tawfiq Hamid that belligerent Islam today, wreaking havoc and terror and Islamic extremism to make reforms and Scriptures of Islam. He is currently working for peace and human rights, a preacher of peace with Israel and claims that the suffering of the Palestinians caused by the feisty and fanatical leadership wants to exterminate the Jews and the Palestinians suffering in political and religious-needs dogmatis. According to him, the cynical exploitation of the Palestinian leadership in people suffering, not only that he's gone, he's running against the Palestinians. Who needs to change, the Palestinians are Israel. Everyone to take example from the President Sadat, says Dr. Hamid. The solution lies in the hands of the Palestinians in Israel's hands. And while it won't change the situation for the Palestinians, the suffering of the Palestinians will come to an end.

This man makes incredible statements::The Palestinians are not suffering by the Jews the way they they are suffering by the Arabs." This was my favorite. My other is his statement that its Hamas that is leading Palestinian suffering. Then again, this IS one in the same...

I agree. Dr. Hamid is a fine human being and realizes the moral bankruptcy of the death-to-Israel movement. Israel's economy, it's own Arab population have made steady gains in all sorts of freedoms relative to other Arabs, especially in Gaza and the P.A.

This man is an eminently decent humanitarian for all, rejects the Islamic fanatical hatred of others, and does so at great risk to himself. He is a hero.

Beth, I agree. There are many decent people out there many of who are Muslim. They see above the prejudice and want to move forward without it. It is sad that there are so many people out there ready to shoot him down, like Carrie, because they don't want to see the good in him or what he is saying. A sad person herself who would rather see death and suffering that listen to someone who wants stop it.

A plea for commonsense - which seems non-existent today. Kudos to Dr Hamid - he is on the right track which is more than can be said for Carrie's caustic outburst.

Noted, ty. I'm so tired of arguing about this issue. I stand by Israel and that won't change. However, I'd just like to see peace in this world. No more wars. No more fighting. Live and let live, and coexist in peace. And if there are people- or groups of people- that you don't like, stay away from them. I'll quote John Lennon again. "War is over if you want it". Rant over.

That doctor tells the truth.

Arab states mercilessly exploit their Palestinian brothers to perpetuate the conflict and to divert people's attention from the rulers' incompetency.

To resolve the conflict, Arab states must be hold responsible for the wars against Israel they started and forced to contribute financially to UNWRA or to provide refugees resettlement programs.

All that stands between the Palestinians and an independent state are certain factions of the Islamic leaders. The Palestinians are being abused by their own *brothers* as pawns to foment anti-Israeli sentiment, thus effectively clouding the real goals of the jihadists.

Jamie, try reading history. The intolerant Jews ran after the Arabs after they were defeated and asked them to stay to create a country together. The Arab nations said that they will give them Israel in 6 months. Now, which party sounds like it wants to destroy the other?

This is an old film, I've seen it years ago.
No one in the Arab world is interested in the truth, since the truth is very bitter: Their so called Arab spring has brought such havoc and misery to everyone that they pray for the return on Qaddafi, Mubarak en Saddam or any modern version of these despotic idiots. Had Israel disappeared overnight would any of the current Arab problems be settled? They better cling to their old dreams of the glory of the Caliphate and the destruction of the infidels. At least this nostalgic trash has some comforting value.
I wouldn't want to be an Arab these days.
