A post on TomCat's blog. Three stories this week which seem to me to be worthy of the attention of the Greek Furies.

Megaera, you need to make it clear to the school board that offense isn’t necessarily always the best defense. They have neglected to do anything about the bullying of Ms. Sims junior or open up communications with Ms. Sims senior about this bullying and when their failure was about to made public they tried to turn the table on Ms Sims. You should make it very clear to the judge, Megaera, that not Ms. Sims but the school board should be the accused party.

Alecto, please find out what the local insurance agent, Mr. Yeamans, AND the local police officers involved in the warrant and the arrest, were smoking at the time? It can’t have been marijuana, because they would have known that a hibiscus bush looks nothing like a marijuana plant and that the latter doesn’t flower this way, but almost unnoticeable. Yeamans apparently knew that marijuana doesn’t flower that way, because he deliberately left all the blooms out of his pictures. But it is doubtful if the ‘police expert on marijuana identification’ would have noticed. Too high on the spoils of an earlier raid?
I hope you make sure, Alecto, that the Cramer’s get all the compensation they are suing the police and the insurance company for; the traumatizing way they’ve been treated entitles them to all of it. But I hope you can satisfy my curiosity if you also found out whet the heck possessed insurance Yeamans to look for marijuana in the first place and then fake pictures when he couldn’t and send these to the police. All in order not to pay for the damages caused by a fallen tree???

Tisiphone, there’s little you can do for Alonzo’s mother, Beverly Smith, but can you make sure the term “special police” is dropped for private security people, and take their guns away too, because they are not police, should never think they are police, let alone be led to think they have the right to behave like police. The misconception allows those men who can’t make it into the police force on merit to get carried away when in uniform and end up breaking the neck of the person they arrest, or worse…It is also doubtful if they’re able to assess a situation correctly and make rightful arrests. When frustrated in the process, these wannabe cops may lose control over an arrest too easily.

Thanks for researching, writing and posting another Erinyes, Joanne, especially during a very busy holiday period.

Megaera: Please hold this mother tight in your arms and protect her, as she goes to court. She'll need support and protection from the idiots who charged her w/felony/misdemeanor charges. Why haven't the school administrators stepped up, and addressed or conferenced with this mom, and get to the root of the bullying hands on??!? Seems to me that this school has taken the coward's way out, and called police, who then filed charges against this caring mother. How insane is this??

Alecto: Shame on the insurance company, and the horrible treatment by police to Mr. and Mrs. Cramer. Yeamans needs to be fired for all false lies he reported, and I'd get a new insurance company too. OH! and I'd want my hibiscus plants back too! (glad they filed a lawsuit too!)

Tisiphone: Get rid of the guns, and the shocking treatment of our youth, by 'special police'. Such a sad, sad story of violence, and death of a loved one. It should have never happened!! and she would have still had her son.

Hope that you had a good Thanksgiving break, and Thank you, for posting your EE. Appreciate it.

Must be an extremely impoverished district to have no staffing for responding to parental concerns nor following the law on addressing bullying and not having computers or other electronic devices for grades above those that usually are required to begin teaching computer literacy skills.
And police do not have any botany understanding for related arrests? No surprise on outrageous corporate avoidance of liability though...
Private police or army usually means no training on use of force or protecting the public's health or even CPR sad law enforcement apparently treated him as one of their own instead of recognizing the expert recommendation of the coroner.
Worthy of much fury and these furies; thanks Joanne

Spy K, We really don't know how many there were supposed to be - there could have been thousands. And they have been known to solicit similar spirits from other nations to help out. I hope whatever it was went well!
