I hear you, Eternal. It is difficult to remain optimistic when you know the truth. But it is our responsibility to our comrades in struggle and to our own consciences, so that's what we have to do.

Logically, of course, evil can only prevail through violence which must be constantly maintained and can never sleep, so good will eventually prevail. The oppressed of the world have always kept the faith throughout all the horrors they had to endure, and have always prevailed in the end, and so shall we.

Venceremos!

Thanks Mark..its good for people to get some context .In Britain we are currently being shown decontextualised news items, which offer no reason for as to why Farc are conducting their campaign. It reminds me of the perspectives which were adopted over Ireland/Northern Ireland. Most people in the UK ,lacked any perspective as to why the IRA or even unionist paramilataries were behaving in the way they did.Whatever the rights and wrongs of the methods employed by Farc/IRA/UDA ,we should at least be offered some history, and preferably a chance to listen to the protagonists views.
I have written to the BBC, asking why there is no depth or political history to their reports on Farc?Without that, the more passive viewer throws up their hands, and decides that the people involved are "just mad".Not at all helpful.
