29 Dec 2014 Today is December 29th, 2014, the day Bella is to be voluntarily euthanized.

As of this update, we do not have Bella in a rescue.

We are asking for prayers as we have many people working on our final efforts in saving this sweet face. No matter what happens today, I want you to know that you have made a difference and will help change future legislation to changing dogs from being classified as personal property to protected animals with actual rights.

Stay tuned, we will be posting any promising rescue updates, and any official movement (regarding sponsors and Bella's scheduled euthanasia) Thank you a for listening, and helping speak for an animal, when she cannot.

I've only just come across this, 29 Dec @ 21:47. I hope that the time difference between where I live (the UK) and Australia means that my petition isn't too late. Surely the poor dog deserves some sort of justice before a decision is made to end her life.

Help Save Bella

We have received news that Bella was in fact euthanized yesterday. We were unable to rescue her. I'm so sorry sweet girl.

I still signed the petition, I wanted to give my support no matter how futile.

RIP Bella, many people tried to help you, but the people who you should have been able to trust the most let you down. x

Grazie Scooby, ho firmato anche se tardi, nella speranza che sia cambiata questa legge per altri cani. Povera dolce Bella.
