Let's hope so, as scientists have recognized the many seismic faults in the area, and the danger that vast groundwater areas would be poisoned by radioactive leakage.

Whether you recognize the land as sacred or not, the devastation and toxicity of mining of the earth has poisoned waters and life. The toxic products of these mass industrial practices have later poisoned far-reaching areas, through shipping, use, landfill, and spillage.

While most of us must now live within this culture of poison and greed to some extent, it will be wise to learn and heed the knowledge of traditional peoples who lived nearer to balance with the other life and earth that sustains each one of us.
