Checked Hall of shame.. data shown till 2005.. No Monsanto in the list? I must be missing something

Krish-yes, but Monsatan was definitely amoyng the nominees, only the majority of voters set a different priority such as Shell and here only the award winners are listed.
I've taken the vote in previous years and remember-this time my pick is pretty clear- no doubt for the bee killers!

While this is hardly a complete list of those destroying the earth...when the uprising comes, this will be a good list to start meting out the punishment. As for the vote, this year, I chose Gazprom. While there were many good choices for worst company, Gazprom is consistently evil.

Exploitation of workers, human rights violations, environmental destruction, deliberate misinformation, corruption, or aggressive tax avoidance: the causes for nominations are diverse. The nominations are assessed by the Public Eye Team and appraised by the Institute of Business Ethics at the University of St. Gall. A jury of experts shortlists the most irresponsible companies for the People’s Award which are then published and put to vote on this website. The jury also decides on the winner of the Jury Award.

Nominations can be submitted all year round. If a nomination is submitted before the end of August, it will be considered for the Public Eye Award in January of the following year.
In no way is this a complete list, of course not.(it would be endless, if you ask meAs you can see, it is merely the result/reflection of submitted nominees suggestions, reviewed as explained above.

Not exactly highly frequented, my post here..but I do believe that public shaming is an important tool! Especilly when the awards are happening same time as the World Economic Forum in Davos, to counter that!

I agree with you Ben, but as despicable as they all are I had to stand up for the bees, without them we will have far fewer foods in our lives.

Noted and voted. Thanks, Angelika. We have far too many companies who are disconnected from our earth; more interested in making money than in sustainability. We can only stop using their products, to the best of our ability, and hope they get the message.

Tough choices! In the end I went for Gazprom but could easily have voted for Bayer.

The spammers are starting early this weekend. It wasn't even noon in the Redwood City office when this one posted. Flagged of course.
