Thanks so much for the informative article it explains so much about the many fatalities in the past 230+ years world wide from the US alone. Though of course one wonders if this flag crisis might be endemic to other countries as it is to the US. With out this extensive research one could be deluded to error that the high incidence of death could have been incorrectly attributed to war. So good to get that cleared up.

Score one more for THE ONION NEWS NETWORK!!!!

Burman added.., "In the interim, I would recommend that all Americans switch to the Canadian flag, which seems to be working just fine." haha

"When combined with alcohol, excessive patriotism, grief, or well-intentioned but ultimately misguided ideals, U.S. flags transform into ticking time bombs, just waiting to go off," Burman said.
I think this was my favorite line. Satiric? Yes. Still, it has some truth in it.

What a great article. Thanks to The Onion, for clearing that up for me. Now I don't have to continue wondering how so many people have questionable deaths. I think I'll just keep my flag for its sentimental value. But will pass this on to others, as I like to keep people well informed.

I'm just sitting back and watching folks getting more and more tired of Government/Big Business-with all the rules/laws-running peoples lives....And I hope I'm ready when "the masses" decide ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!!
