The fate of the 17-year-old law known as "don't ask, don't tell," which bars openly gay Americans from serving in the military, is expected to be decided before Congress goes home prior to year's end.

McCain is a hack with no moral principles whatsoever. He doesn't care about DADT, he just wants to prevent anything from getting done in the Senate.

DADT has gotta goooooooo.....McCain needs to go retire out of site and play golf somewhere with his bimbo wife. I mean, I admire the man's service but the time has come.

Thanks for posting this article Cal.

Agree with Mac R. about McCain.

Lets hope that the rest of the Senate gets it's act together and repels this ridicuiously STUPID law with what little time they have left in this session.

I don't know, Mac I think other than being a doddering old fool - McCain meets all the requirements for being called a bigot.

Ok, McCain is a doddering old fool of a bigot - why doesn't he retire to like Antarctica?

If John should drop dead of stupidity - his intelligent wife Cindy that supports gays could take his place in the senate.

Just do it already. McCain is one vote. This article gives that man too much credibility.

It's time for the minority to GROW UP and face reality.
Prolonging the inevitable is fruitless.
People are people and they deserve the right to be true to themselves.
Do you actually believe, that god doesn't have more important issues with which to deal?
