My heart and by best wishes go out to the people suffering this disaster -- my mind, however, boggles that a people who were the victims of two nuclear attacks have made themselves the victims of more such horrors by choosing to let nuclear power plants be built in their country ... a tiny island ... on a major fault line ...

It's too painful for me to look at anymore. It only makes me get sicker if I do look for too long. However The Ring of fire that is part of of this also goes up our west coast too even part of C. You should look at a map of this country to see how many we have. Memphis,TN is on a major Fault & along the MS river you can find many of the the same facilities.

..news here..third explosion in reactor 2. We tried so hard in the 60's 70's and 80's to get the world and its peoples to listen re the dangers of nuclear fuel. We were laughed at..mocked...belittled...called crazies..but we stood firm..The women of Sellafield..Mucho Kudos ladies!..Having a nuclear reactor on ones land is akin to having a nuclear bomb waiting to be primed..all it takes is a little shake...Come on now peoples!..time to get serious...:)..x

....and after this catastrophe - we have a scientist here who wants Australia to go ahead and build nuclear plants on the mainland(as yet we have none). He must know something we don't because he predicts ours will be much safer than those in Japan.....oh yeah!!!!
