Although the incomprehensible amount of damage resulting from the 2008 economic crash is still being felt by the majority of Americans, those most responsible for the meltdown, the executives of Wall Street and major corporations, have profited immensely

Jail, jail, prison, jail, prison, prison, more jail, more prison, conviction, sentencing, more sentencing, conviction, jail, prison.

We will not forget that those who brought this country to its knee's, through bad judgement, poor management, irresponsible and unethcial behavior extorted us for a bailed out, kept their jobs and incomes and recieved a bonus at the expense of our homes, incomes, jobs, careers, education, pensions, standard of living, economy and international standing.

And WHO is gonna tell me I can't peaceably assemble? Let that person stand in front of me and say so.

In what other sector of business could a director receive a million $$$ bonus for failing the company. Honestly, something must be done to stop these arrogant, inefficient and characterless individuals.

It would be great if those who set up this horrible thief-ery and stole all kinds of wealth, would be jailed and dishonored.
Thank God I never went to any of these meetings, but those who held them need to be the thieves they really are...don't stop pursuing them please

"those most responsible for the meltdown, the executives of Wall Street and major corporations"
Except the cause of the 2008 crash was not Wall Street. Certainly Wall Street firms were involved in marketing and selling MBS's (mortage-backed securities), but the MBS's were originally issued by Ginne Mae (a US government agency), Freddie Mac, or Fannie Mae (both US government-sponsored entities). The root causes were not only these "government" agencies development of the new MBS's investments, but also the congress who not only ignored warnings that the mortgage's behind these securities were suspect, but indeed pushed these very kind of mortgage loans that caused the collapse of the market.
No there is a lot of responsibility to go around for the 2008 crisis, but it originated in the halls of congress and the White House.

Morris, really how could you possibly draw such a shallow conclusion. You can't be that easy to fool, of course Congress and the White House are complicit.

The original sin was born on Wall Street in the mind of one of our Ueber genial financial prodigies, far smarter and much more clever than any of the rest of us. The malfeasance began in earnest with lobbying for deregulation and furthered by an end run on ligitimate business practices and common sense with the short term goal of profiteering with no regard for its consequences.

Kind of like a mugger, who knows only that he wants money and without thinking of the further ramifications, snatches the old lady's bag and runs into the shadows and you would blame the cop?
