Agnes posted about these new finds the other day, and the site had photos of them up close and up close for me! It's amazing how something so small could be so alien and ferocious looking...
But you're right, we cannot let this drilling happen. These sort of creatures are definitely not going to be included in any type of environmental impact statement if they can so easily overlook the needs of animals and ecosystems billions of sizes larger.

Thanks for that hilarious racism, Pam.

Do you eat cows, pigs, sheep, chickens and such?

Interesting, I'm not for deep offshore drilling as look at BP but am completely for on land drilling!

Destroy the ocean, destroy the land, destroy the air. What will there be left? They say only cockroaches and rats would survive nuclear devastation, but I have my doubts. I think it would be only the evil scientific people who devise ways to exploit this planet knowing that they themselves have some sort of bunker somewhere. Why else would they not be shouting a warning about all of this? The new species are not the only ones threatened, eventually all of life itself will be in danger. One of the first things that we learn when we are little is that there are consequences for everything we do. This applies to the imbalance of nature too. It's usually the little guys in the universities and the geographical societies who warn against this. I wish humans were more wise and had reverence for nature and all living things.
