Since the Portuguese conquest centuries ago, Brazil's indigenous population has been subjected to slavery, genocide, murder, land theft and discrimination.

This is what it has come to. And probably will in other parts of our world.

A good article. Have been watching programs on the villagers protecting their patch of Rain forest against burning. Brazil is having a lot of problems now with protesters. A very goof time for the Indians to make their move. I hope you can win what is rightfully yours.

This is going to be very difficult to resolve. The Indians need support from outside. Anyone to make a petition?

The tribes people can entertain tourist by dancing around? What an insult. This indicates the total disdain of the white settlers for the indigenous peoples. I back the tribes 100% over the people who usurped their lands so long ago.

Good for them. I know that they have tried various methods of getting the Brazilian governments attention to help them preserve not only their way of life and lands but most important the actual Amazon rainforest. The government has continued to ignore the issues in favor of greed.

Injustice has been burdened on many. None more so that the Native populations in the Americas.
Justice The purpose of Justice
The light of men is Justice. Quench it not with the contrary winds of oppression and tyranny. The purpose of justice is the appearance of unity among men. The ocean of divine wisdom surgeth within this exalted word, while the books of the world cannot contain its inner significance.
