Poisoned, electrocuted, shot, these rare and magnificent birds are the fastest disappearing raptors in Europe. The globally endangered species has become extinct in nine European countries in the past half a century

I know most people think vultures are ugly and their chosen diet is not especially endearing, but these majestic birds are vital to ecological balance. They are so magnificent in flight and they possess a curious kind of beauty that can hold one in awe if given a chance. Thanks Cal. I pray they are able to keep these noble birds from disappearing forever.

It sounds like the Electrocuted birds are accidental, not an attempt to kill them.

Vultures have their own beauty and they keep dead animal bodies from rotting and causing disease, they are important, all wildlife is important. Only jerks can not understand that.

"I'd like to share a revelation that I've had during my time here. It came to me when I tried to classify your species and I realized that you're not actually mammals. Every mammal on this planet instinctively develops a natural equilibrium with the surrounding environment but you humans do not. You move to an area and you multiply and multiply until every natural resource is consumed and the only way you can survive is to spread to another area. There is another organism on this planet that follows the same pattern. Do you know what it is? A virus. Human beings are a disease, a cancer of this planet."
