Despite stricter anti-poaching laws and increased wildlife protection, African elephants could become functionally extinct in our lifetime due to humans' uncontrolled lust for ivory

If people would stop asking for animal parts, these animals would not be dying!

If you want to do more, please go to to join or support the Wildlife Conservation Society (Bronx Zoo) Run/Walk for the Wild, which is raising money this year for their elephant and anti-poaching programs, which are very effective.

If you live in New York: New York is the largest ivory market in the United States, which in turn is the second largest ivory market in the world. NYS Assembly bill 8824 would ban all ivory sales throughout the state. Please tell your state Assemblymember to stop elephant poaching by voting Yes on Assembly bill 8824.
