U.S.-Cuban Officials Meet In Cuba To Re-Establish Relations

Diplomats are in Cuba this week for talks with high-level representatives from the communist government. The talks, which begin Wednesday, are the first official discussions in decades.

At least the process has begun. What I wonder is what the disposition of properties that were owned by US companies that Castro had confiscated that was the underlying cause of the embargo.

It's about time this spat was ended after all the US has had relations with other communist countries such as China and Russia.

Excellent. Forida use to have a good trade relationship with Cuba being such a short distance from each other. I would like to think this mutual benefit can be established again in the coming years.
