Deep in the Algerian Sahara, the oasis town of Ain Salah is a focus of opposition to a new wave of fracking, with violent confrontations between police and up to 40,000 protestors

Fracking in the desert with the areas only potable water is criminal. Haliburton and Total must be removed from Algeria. To the government of Algeria: Don't sell out your peoples' water rights to evil corporations for the sake of a pittance. Your people come first.

This is definitely an INTERNATIONAL issue that knows NO BOUNDARIES.

Just like the sky, the climate, the weather, the winds.....

Earth is ONE ECO-SYSTEM. A little speck in the Universe... capable {temporarily!} of supporting Life...

80% of Fossil Fuel Reserves must be LEFT IN THE GROUND
if we are to avert Climate CATASTROPHE due to Global Warming.

NO MORE drilling, coal mining, FRACKING,
and transporting, leaking and spilling and exploding,
and BURNING and spewing into the Atmosphere.
NO MORE exploration for new sources!
This should be Environmentalists' MANTRA:

This will take a Major Effort comparable to the U.S. switching from Civilian Consumer Goods to War Production during WWII. An even greater effort! But necessary - and where there's a Will there's a Way.
