Signed - in so many places we are going backwards. I lived in those "before" we had safe abortions. People did die or were maimed for life. The rich always managed to skirt the law bringing their women to Countries that performed abortions safely.

This only hurts the poor and those least likely to afford another child but those religious right are never able to help when these children need feed or shelter, they just point at those people and say, go get a job get an education pull yourself up by the bootstraps when there are no boots to begin with no money for these expensive educations and living wage jobs no longer exist for many people.

There is nothing religious about those people - they are shortsighted and willfully ignorant and no nothing of compassion. Because many of them are confined and restricted it just gives them somewhere to feel in their lives they have some power - power over another.
