Noted. I can easily imagine this happening here in the US now that hate filled extremists have received permission from their new brainless "leader" to act on their hatred. Thanks Cal!

Why do not everyone realise that racism should not be an issue. We were all created as we are. I hate discrimination.

Thanks for this article, Cal. We do have Polish citizens in our expat group and they're ashamed of the rampant racism going on in Poland - especially since the official Poland made it crystal clear, that they only take in Christian refugees - a form of racism too.

Although this Tunisian man over-reacted because of the fact that the "victim" stole two bottles of Coke from his shop ... aren't such incidents called "standing your ground" in the US and considered acceptable?!

Racism is since over a decade on the rise everywhere in the so-called "1st world" and is fueled in a quite organized way - so we should really not be all that surprised that such and worse incidences take place like the ones in the aftermath of the initial event. It's all just waiting for a spark, any excuse to let the fuelled emotions run amok.

All the blabber about how enlightened, advanced and civilized the 1st world is ... is just window dressing and wishful thinking of some good doers. Scratch a bit the surface and the very ugly truth comes out - it never fails.

I was thankfully raised with the knowledge that all humans and animals have the very same red blood. There is no other colour until today.
