An 11-year-old girl in Ohio was allegedly raped by a 26-year-old multiple times, leaving her pregnant, according to police reports. A state law passed in April, but not yet in effect, says that victims like her won't have a choice to have an abortion.

This law is WAY, WAY too harsh! I have read in a couple places, though, that some Ohio cities that have abortion-providing clinics plan to defy the ban. An 11-year-old rape victim should not under any circumstances be forced to give birth! Her attacker, though, should be neutered.

Noted. Disappointing how our nation is going backwards in its stance on rights.

Agree with Freya. To me if someone is raped, she should be allowed to have an abortion. No ifs or buts about it.
Thanks Caree

Nuts.

An outdated, sexist way to keep women under control: it's us, males, who decide what happens to your body.

Not sure this makes America great again.....

Ohio, Georgia, Alabama..... As I said earlier, making abortion illegal won't stop abortion, it will only make abortion more dangerous.

All a question of power....

Outrageous - the world has lost it's mind, especially - but not exclusively - the U.S.A.

Where is the compassion? And why is the victim being counselled on her delinquent behaviour????? She's a child and shouldn't even know about such things yet! Poor wee lass. This will scar her, and all the others in the same situation for the rest of their lives. Noted. Many thanks for sharing.

The GOP and rabid Right Evangelicals only want more babies to brainwash. It's disgusting. They should be putting the rapist in prison for life as it's obviously rape when an 11 year old is pregnant.
