"This isn't just Wall Street, this is Wall State," said Tupac Enrique Acosta of Tonatierra. "And these are not governors of governments, these are accomplices in crime."

I think the Occupy Movement will give many groups that have felt left out to begin to feel empowered. As with everything, the MultiNational and Big Agri Farms make the profits at the expense of the people. This has never been a system with NAFTA for the benefit of the common person, but for the Corporations and the Banksters. So good for them, stand up to Wells Fargo and the others that will downtrodden the people no matter what is there heritage.

Glad to see more people standing up against the hijacking of our democracy. I seem to recall hearing somewhere recently about there being a recall movement against Jan Brewer?

Thank-you Myron.

Good idea. ALEC is the arm with the poison pens writing the legislation that is cloned in legislatures across the nation for decades to instill a national totalitarian corporate oligarchy while systematically dismantling our participatory democracy. OCCUPY CLUB for GROWTH too. Our last best hope before the shotting starts: The Occupy Movement.

One would think, at some point I would cease to be astounded by the moral depravation that has swept this nation like the Bubonic Plague. The shear depths to which the Privatized Prison Industrial Complex will sink themselves and anyone greed mad enough to aid them is beyond comprehension. The mastery and outright blatant gall they exhibit finding ways to manipulate legislators and legislation defies belief.

Quoting from the article.
“SB1070 was never about immigration. It was formulated for the express purpose of creating "demand" for private prisons through the rounding up of detainees for profit. It required elaborate storytelling about headless bodies in the desert and assorted scare tactics that have separated neighbor from neighbor -- needlessly and heartlessly -- for political gain.”

The situation in AZ, as diabolical as it is, pails in light of -- “WASHINGTON (AP) — Ignoring a presidential veto threat, the Democratic-controlled Senate moved methodically Thursday to complete a massive defense bill that would deny suspected terrorists, even U.S. citizens seized within the nation's borders, the right to trial and subject them to indefinite detention.
The Senate rejected an effort by Intelligence Committee Chairman Dianne Feinstein to limit a military custody requirement for suspects to those captured outside the United States. The vote was 55-45. Feinstein, D-Calif., said her goal was to ensure "the military won't be roaming our streets looking for suspected terrorists." From the article in The Nation, today.

I’m left to wonder if this is not the format the Nazi’s utilized in the beginning of their headlong rush into the establishment of their Concentration Camp complex. "First they came for the communists, and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a communist. Then they came for the trade unionists, and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a trade unionist. Then they came for the Jews, and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a Jew. Then they came for me and there was no one left to speak out for me."

Evil prevails only when good men and women fail to act. Occupy something before it’s to late!

ALEC arranged for Jan Brewer to become the Governor of Arizona? Well, at least the people of Arizona know who's pulling the misguided puppet's strings! What a sad situation! Should we be disgusted by the fact that financial institutions in Arizona have been profiteering off of the criminalization and exploitation of migratory workers and their families, and that the most notable culprit is Wells Fargo Bank. Absolutely! Should we be surprised? Absolutely not! Their dirty fingers have gotten into anything and everything they can squeeze a nickel out of. The 1% wields much too much power and influence. I'm glad that an Hispanic coalition is lending its voice and airing its grievances by joining the Occupy movement!
