"The Israeli military unlawfully demolished at least 39 structures in Bedouin Palestinian communities in the West Bank on August 17 and 18, 2015. The demolitions left 126 people homeless, 80 of them children. Four of the communities where the demolitions took place are targeted by an Israeli government plan to forcibly “relocate” 7,000 Bedouin."

So sad that innocent children have to suffer because of adults.
Thank you Sam

We're seeing the Prawer Plan enacted, step by step until all 30-40.000 are being displaced/ illegally transfered.
I'm afraid there won't be much more than UN demands for immediate freeze on demolitions, fruittless ones.
Same goes for all protests by the various other sides. That seems to be the sad truth while the Nutyahoo sells his lie, claiming the move would “put an end to the spread of illegal building by Negev Bedouin and lead to the better integration of the Bedouin into Israeli society.”

The nasty strategy is obvious: announce the imminent demolition of one place, then halt this after massive outcry (Susyia) and hit another area. One or more at a time.
"Haaretz also said one of the Knesset's settlements committee is demanding that all Bedouin communities in Zone C as designated by the 1995 Oslo II Accord, especially those near Ma'ale Adumim, are destroyed."
“The lack of redress for clearly unlawful acts is why the ICC’s current examination is so crucial.”
It absoutely is! Thx Sam.

B'tselem has a detailed story and their total account since August 5 sums up to 167 people who've have lost their homes in these actions, including 101 minors.

How the people of Israel and Jews worldwide continue to still pretend that they have an inherent right to destroy the lives of others, is

The inherent arrogance of exclusivity, entitlement, special rights, and right to the 'good life' at the expense of others - since the early days of Zionism - is not a lesson some Jews, and others, who condone Israeli abuses and crimes against the people of Palestine, may never change, willingly.

Such is the overblown sense of self importance, distortions and selfish attitudes that exist, sadly, that have destroyed communities, ways of life, and generations of children and families, over and over - the 'good life' of a few, over the rights of all.

This is not sustainable and cannot last. End the occupation-siege of Gaza.

Israel Boycott, divestment and sanctions, now!

Aren't we lucky now to not have the nitwit here to throw his mud on Bob's last comment! E.g. telling us once more that Gazans have the "highest birthday rate in the world". :-)))

What distress to continually be uprooted and threatened with upheaval.
Thank you, Sam for posting.

Settlements continue - Today:

Demonstrators to Protest Jaffa Settlement Plan.

"The plan will make the Al-Ajami neighborhood a purely Jewish area, according to Al Ray."

"To be noted, those who are in charge of the project have clearly stated that "non-Arabs" will be in charge of the project, and that it will be a pure Jewish project."

Thanks Sam! It's interesting how the world community reacts (not) ...

Angelika, you're spot on: this is the Prawer-Begin Plan enacted step by step and the world looks the other way until it's done. Once done ... they all "wake" up and Israel may (probably not even) get a little tapping on that cute little chubby hand ... disgusting!

Who is it again who keeps complaining that "we" don't care about the children? Where are those steadfast defenders aka Hasbhartchik trolls???

I take note, Angelika, that you're missing the "little white Dawah Ghost" ?!?! LOL!!

"Statement by Michael and Osha Neumann that accompanied their request for the removal of their grandmothers name from Yad Vashem:
I do not believe that the Jewish people, in whose name you have committed so many crimes with such outrageous complacency, can ever rid itself of the shame you have brought upon us. Nazi propaganda, for all its calumnies, never disgraced and corrupted the Jews; you have succeeded in thisyou blacken our names not only by your acts, but by the lies, the coy evasions, the smirking arrogance and the infantile self-righteousness with which you embroider our history You will never pay for your crimes and you will continue to preen yourself, to bask in your illusions of moral ascendancy. "

Kudos to the Neumanns!! Thx Jess! That is as powerful and symbolic as it can get!

On a side note, I find it interesting to learn from the zionist propaganda submitted above that from the thousands registered citizens of Sderod thousands DO NOT live there for TAX REASONS- NOT for fear of rockets, as one might have expected!

Angelika R (143)

No abuse, BS! It wasn't a quote! But quoting doesn't make it look better or different:

"[-]Officially Sderot’s population is 23,000 but in reality about 14,000 live there, as many have left and many people are registered as living there but do not for tax reasons. * "
NOT for fear of rockets, as one might have expected!

Here's what the real abuse is: equating traumatized children of Israel with homeless and killed by the hundreds children of Gaza! Not to mention THEIR traumata!
Those that survived do not wake up with the roof of their homes over their heads like the lucky ones in Israel.

Happens all over the world. All of the third world countries do awful things to families and children. To me this world has never improved no matter all the fanatic prigs or the fanatic liberals. We do the same thing here in the USA....make families homeless and make people look bad that never had a real problem keeping a job in their life and being honest. The newssssssiiiiieeeesssss now young everything bad love to make older people look bad while ruining their own lives. Our leaders gave away our country and money, we did not. If citizens earlier on had made Washington, DC live like we did we would not be in the place we are now. Between foreign liars, american liars in media and intelligence...they have all made the world worse ....the last agency I worked in if you were not political and kissed corporate or state ass then they went after you. I would not do either and I made my allegations of the kind of people who were running the state were ignorant women and men.

Israel is not a third world country but for all of its religion it does not care whom it hurts. I found an animal welfare sanctuary for cats that is outside of a town in Israel run by a person who is not Israeli and had immigrated to Israel 26 years ago..she said cats are vermin in Israel that no one cares. If you do not care for animals, then likely you do not care for women or children either.

Pamela - you are probably right about families made homeless - but with the military bulldozing their homes? I think not ....
