NOw that he has killed her the family wants revenge.. to bad they did not think of her before she married this man, she was a child and they were the parents.. standing up for her when she is dead will be a very cold comfort.

You are so right Sharon, I realize certain cultures have different views from ours but I can never accept that these things happen to children, because that is what she still was, an innocent child and she had to marry because of money and now their relatives want revenge?? unbelievable. This man has done a bad thing but only God is to judge him, not people

thanks for the post. I really hope after this incident, their country will not allow underage marriage.

So, Zen, you are saying that opposing these "religion-based" atrocities is "hate speech"? I wonder how this poos child's soul in heaven regards this.

TO SAY IT POLITELY 'IT'S THE POT CALLING THE KETTLE BLACK !!" THE PARENTS ARE JUST AS CULPABLE. IN THEIR DAUGHTERS' DEATH FOR SANCTIONING THIS MARRIAGE.DID WHICH PLAYED A LARGE PART IN THIS VERY SAD ATROCITY................FROM WHAT WAS POSTED PREVIOUSLY THE MOTHER EVEN SPOKE TO THE DAUGHTER ABOUT GIVING INTO THE GROOMS DEMANDS. COULD IT BE THAT DUE TO THE PUBLIC OUTCRY THEY ARE TRYING TO VINDICATE THEIR OWN ACTIONS ?? TO BE QUITE HONEST,THEY WEREN'T TO CONCERNED ABOUT THEIR POOR CHILD AT THE TIME EXCEPT WHEN IT CAME TO THE DOWRY THEY SAVED ...................

Dear God, this was a child who should of been protected by her parents. This is not an adult ready at 13 years of age to be married off to an adult almost double her age! This custom & hideous practice must end! Marriage is hard enough on adult, without inflicting this on a child! He should of known better, but man will be man when it comes to satisfying their urge & sexual needs, the Hell with the victim! God will judge him accordingly! Two wrong here won't make any thing right!
