Muslim Brotherhood 101: Why the State Dept Should Ban Them

As this administration is infested with high-security clearanced Muslim Brotherhood agents, what should we know about this powerful group that has been designated a terrorist entity by the Cameron government as well as a number of Arab countries?

Who is the Muslim Brotherhood?

The Muslim Brotherhood (Al-Ihkwan al-Muslimun) is a Sunni, pan-Islamic organization based in Cairo, Egypt whose ultimate aim is the re-establishment of the global Islamic caliphate and the implementation of sharia as state law. Founded in Egypt in 1928 it is the oldest Islamist group in the world and along with Jamaat e-Islami in Pakistan and India, the most influential.

During World War II they backed the Nazis against the British. They were provided with a printing press by the Third Reich to print Arabic copies of Hitler’s book Mein Kampf and the notorious anti-Semitic forgery Protocols of the Elders of Zion.

They see Islam as a holistic system of life that must be implemented at every level. This includes the brutal hudud punishments such as amputations and the death penalty for adultery and blasphemy. However, they are aware that such ideas are unpopular so they seek first to Islamize the society through education. Although the group officially renounced violence in 1971, that seems to have been a practical decision. The group still believes that armed jihad is a legitimate way to achieve its goals when the time is right.

Following that they would implement their policies step-by-step, under their doctrine of gradualism. After the Egyptian revolution the group came to power in an election which attempted to implement this vision. It was deposed after one year because of their tyrannical policies.

They have branches in approximately 80 countries worldwide including the United States.

The Thirteen Tenets of the Muslim Brotherhood—and why we should be concerned.

The Muslim Brotherhood is a Islamic fundamental organisation that promotes violent jihad as a means to gain a global caliphate —the world submitted under Islamic rule.

The motto of the Brotherhood was traditionally “Believers are but Brothers”. That was expanded into a five-part slogan: “Allah is our objective; the Qur’an is the Constitution; the Prophet is our leader; jihad is our way; death for the sake of Allah is our wish.”

They formed in 1928 to foster the unlimited spread of Islam, until the “Ummah”—the Nation of Islam “gains its rightful position” which is “the most exalted nation in the world”. Their ideology promotes the Koranic doctrine of Muslims as the “Master Race” and the global caliphate as the rightful world’s government.

To this end they have trained and continue to train most of the leaders of current day terrorist organisations while penetrating their influence even into the White House. Their major supporter is Qatar. They adhere to the strictest form of Islam—Salfism while coming from Sufi mindset.

To expose their ideals we provide the following excerpts taken from the book:

“Jihad is the Way” by Mustafa Mashhur—Leader of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, from 1996 – 2002

1. Goal is Islamic world domination

“…the Islamic Ummah [nation]… can regain its power, be liberated and assume its rightful position which was intended by Allah, as the most exalted nation among men, as the teachers of humanity…”

2. Racial Supremists:

“…know your status, so that you firmly believe that you are the masters of the world, even if your enemies desire your degradation…”

3. Establishment of an Islamic State

“It should be known that Jihad and preparation for Jihad are not only for the purpose of fending-off assaults and attacks against Muslims by Allah’s enemies, but are also for the purpose of realizing the great task of establishing an Islamic state, strengthening the religion and spreading it around the world…”

4. Jihad, Not limited to Islamic Countries

“…Jihad for Allah is not limited to the specific region of the Islamic countries. The Muslim homeland is one and is not divided. The banner of Jihad has already been raised in some of its parts, and it shall continue to be raised, with the help of Allah, until every inch of the land of Islam will be liberated, the State of Islam will be established…”

5. Jihad is the religious duty of everyone

“Jihad is a religious public duty… incumbent upon the Islamic nation. Jihad is a personal duty to fend off the infidels’ attack on the nation…” “The youth should know that the problems of the Islamic world, such as Palestine, Afghanistan, Syria, Eritrea, or the Philippines, are not issues of territories and nations, but of faith and religion. They are problems of Islam and the Muslims, and they can be resolved neither by negotiation nor by recognizing the enemy’s right to the Islamic land he stole. Rather, the only option is Jihad for Allah, and this is why Jihad is the way.”

!Muslim_Brotherhood_Logo6. Sword of jihad is the symbol

“The symbol of the [Muslim] Brotherhood is the book of Allah [the Quran] between two swords. The swords symbolize Jihad and the force that protects the truth represented in Allah’s book.”

7 All must answer the call of jihad, everywhere.

“You should be prepared to answer the call of Jihad whenever you are called, in any region of the Islamic world. Our Islam is universal not regional, and all Islamic countries are one homeland. “go out to battle, oh believers, young and old, by foot or on horseback, under all circumstances and conditions”

8. Timing: Don’t rush, prepare carefully for Jihad.

“The [Muslim] Brotherhood will never rush after the youth’s enthusiasm to carry out immature and unplanned actions, which will not alter the corrupt reality and may even harm Islamic activity, and will benefit the people of falsehood…”

9. Choose your targets
“…it is not necessary for the Muslims to repel every attack or damage caused by the enemies of Allah immediately, rather [this is required] when ability and the circumstances allow for it.”

10 Prepare and train for warfare
“Prepare yourself and train in the art of warfare, and possess the components of power. You must learn the ways, manners and laws of war. You must learn them and embrace them and adhere to them, so that your Jihad will be accepted by Allah.”

11. Equip yourself for warfare
“… every Muslim has an unavoidable personal duty to equip himself and prepare for Jihad...”

12 Personal goal: Aspire to Shahada – Death for Allah. “Allah is our goal, the Prophet is our leader, the Quran is our constitution, Jihad is our way, and death for Allah is our most exalted wish.”

“Jihad is our way and Shahada (Martyrdom – Death for Allah) is our most exalted wish. This is the call that we and the men of Da’awa (Islamic missionary activity) have always called … Many of our beloved ones have already achieved this wish … We ask Allah to accept all of them… May He join us with them…”

13. Jihad against Israel: “Honorable brothers achieved Shahada (Martyrdom) on the soil of beloved Palestine, in 1947 and 1948, in their Jihad against the criminal, thieving gangs of Zion. The Imam and Shahid (Martyr) Hassan Al-Banna is considered a Shahid (Martyr) of Palestine, even though he was not killed on its soil.”

The Extent of its influence:

“The Brotherhood organization formed by Hasan al-Bannain in Egypt in 1928 was designed to function as the spear point of the Islamo-fascist movement and its crusade against the West. The Brotherhood spawned al-Qaeda and Hamas. Its doctrines make up the core of the terrorist jihad conducted by organizations such as Islamic Jihad, Hezbollah, Hamas, and the government of Iran.

Its agendas have been clear since its creation: infiltration, subversion and global terror with world conquest as the goal.

With Congress controlled majority of Republicans, who knows what will happen with right-wing trigger happy deranged idiots baying for blood, conquest and control.

Your only hope is for Trump to run further riot, completely destabilizing the Republican party into the parody laughing stock it's turned into, and Cameron['s moronic right-wing Conservative goon squad to lose power when our elections are held in 2020.

Global terror can be easily reduced if one removes the Military weapons manufacturers from the equation, with their multi-million profits, fueled by propagating wars against "the enemy"

Once Corporate Egoism is reduced and/or removed, peace can be achieve.

Until then, your continuing narrative runs and mankind doesn't grow further than an adolescent teenager on high testosterone charge.

Anything from the clarionproject should be treated with quite a bit of contempt. If anything the example of when the Muslim Brotherhood got into power in Egypt should be a wake up call on how thoroughly inept and out of touch it was as it ended up sliding into incompetent religious fascism. They are regarded in much the same way that extreme right wing groups are in the West. Banning them only makes the nutters who support them think they have a point ... showing them in the harsh light of public scrutiny will make them shrivel like a spider on a hot plate.

I did not know that there was a problem with The Muslim Brotherhood in the USA. If someone still thinks Obama is a muslim, does that mean they will vote for Trump ? His thinker is broken too

Louise and Darren - great comments and thinking ;-). I fully second your statement about the Clarionproject, Louise; their track record in general is miserable when it comes to facts and truths.

Louise, you say that "...showing them in the harsh light of public scrutiny will make them shrivel like a spider on a hot plate." - this is exactly what happened in Egypt when they came to power thanks to the manipulations of the US and its allies.

We should not forget that of all 13 candidates for the 2012 presidential election Moh’d Morsi (and Geneeral Ahmed Shafiq, an old Mubarak crony) were way down at the very bottom with 1-digit percent figures ... and lo and behold a miracle happened: the both came out as the absolute "winners" of the first round and the other 11 way way behind them!!!

In the second round Egyptians then had the choice between the pest (Morsi) and the cholera (Shafiq). So they chose the cholera (Shafiq) and the presidential guard moved to his residence in the 5th Settlement as reported by many eye witnesses before the official announcement … which was delayed for 2 hours.

Suddenly we got news that there were hectic activities at the US Embassy with Egyptian officials in and out … and the presidential guards dismantling what they just set up at Shafiq’s residence … and then we heard the announcement that Moh’d Morsi was the new President of Egypt.

Fast forward: The people pretty quick realized what a fake they elected, revolted in June 2013 and the very same countries called it a "coup d'état" because their protégé (Brother Morsi) was kicked out. Until today every time one or several of them stand trial the "Western world" is up in arms and yes, they still refuse to list them as terrorists. You may recall that the Muslim Brothers said clearly on several occasions: “Either we rule Egypt or we burn it”.

Yet such statements as well as the almost daily terrorist attacks didn’t stop then Ambassador Anne Patterson to pay Khairat el Shatr (the grey eminence of the Brothers) a number or “private” visits in his downtown office …

Mid 2014 Mr. Cameron went on the records stating that "they (the Muslim Brothers) are a minority who deserve our protection" - totally disregarding the fact that since their ouster we have practically daily terror attacks onto security personnel as well as civilians alike. It goes without saying that for such "brown people" who die in those attacks there are nowhere any hashtags "#Je suis ...".

Cui Bono is never asked by anyone?

Cui Bono that they’re not outlawed? Because it would mean the Cameron Government would have to shut down the HQ of the MBs in London? They could not be received anymore by various US officials such as Congressmen, the Pentagon and the White House?

Cui Bono that Egypt was hit hard on the head by the WH when they dared to bombard ISIS in Libya?

Cui Bono that 34 loads of weapons were dropped “by accident” (acc. to CIA officials) on ISIS?

Cui Bono that the US flew over 3’000 sorties with roughly a 5% hit quote on ISIS? … and only after Russia stepped in the hit rate of the USAF improved slightly?

Cui Bono that the majority of refugees in Europe don’t come from war torn countries but from Morocco (majority) and African (Christian and Muslim) countries?

Cui Bono that suddenly Afghanis – after 15 years!! – “discover” that they have to flee their country?

Cui Bono that suddenly Syrians – who had temporary settled and adjusted in Arab countries like Lebanon, Jordan, Saudi, Egypt … - thought they should go to Europe?

Cui Bono that the European Continent gets totally destabilized?

How much more do people need to witness for themselves until they start connecting the most obvious dots?! None of the above serves the Arab and other countries where refugees come from; none of the above serves the "cause of Islam" as some want to have it. But it serves those interests who want to put a) Europe back in its place and b) divide all Arab countries into little and easy to manipulate and controllable "mini-states". It's all out there in numerous public literatures and reports starting with the Yinon Report of 1982, continued by "The Grand Chessboard" and by "Clean Break".

As Condoleeza Rice said in 2006 during her speech in Tel Aviv: "we need a constructive chaos in the Middle East". Chaos we have ... constructive is another question ...

The Clarion Project is stating facts. These actions are being played out in Europe, the Middle East, the West Bank and other areas as the Muslim Brotherhood spreads their influence. Denial of these facts led to the invasion of the EU and will lead to an invasion of the United States by our Muslim supporting president. "Death for Allah is our most exalted wish,” just as death for the emperor was the highest goal of Japanese fighters during WWII. The suicide pilots were Kamikaze or "Divine Wind."

The Muslim Brotherhood's motto is this:

Allah is our objective.
The Prophet is our leader.
The Qur'an is our law.
Jihad is our way.
Dying in the way of Allah is our highest hope.

These most fundamental principles articulated are in no way consonant with the values of the United States Constitution. That we have an administration who has placed Muslim Brotherhood operatives in high security positions in our government is downright frightening.

But there is far, far more than this that people should know about and take heed of.

Let's look at some other Muslim Brotherhood (aka in Arabic as Ikhwan) beliefs and objectives:

The Brotherhood’s goal is to turn the world into an Islamist empire. The Muslim Brotherhood, founded in Egypt in 1928, is a revolutionary fundamentalist movement to restore the caliphate and strict shariah (Islamist) law in Muslim lands and, ultimately, the world. Today, it has chapters in 80 countries.
“It is in the nature of Islam to dominate, not to be dominated, to impose its law on all nations and to extend its power to the entire planet.” —Muslim Brotherhood founder Hassan al-Banna

· The Brotherhood wants America to fall. It tells followers to be “patient” because America “is heading towards its demise.” The U.S. is an infidel that “does not champion moral and human values and cannot lead humanity.” —Muslim Brotherhood Supreme Guide Muhammed Badi, Sept. 2010

· The Brotherhood claims western democracy is “corrupt,” “unrealistic.” and “false.”
—Former Muslim Brotherhood Supreme Guide Muhammed Mahdi Akef

· The Brotherhood calls for jihad against “the Muslim’s real enemies, not only Israel but also the United States. Waging jihad against both of these infidels is a commandment of Allah that cannot be disregarded.” —Muslim Brotherhood Supreme Guide Muhammed Badi, Sept. 2010

· The Brotherhood assassinated Anwar Sadat in 1981 for making peace with the hated “Zionist entity.”[6]It also assassinated Egypt’s prime minister in 1948 and attempted to assassinate President Nasser in 1954.

· Hamas is a “wing of the Muslim Brotherhood,” according to the Hamas Charter, Chapter 2. The Charter calls for the murder of Jews, the “obliteration” of Israel and its replacement with an Islamist theocracy.

· The Brotherhood supports Hezbollah’s war against the Jews. Brotherhood leader Mahdi Akef declared he was “prepared to send 10,000 jihad fighters immediately to fight at the side of Hezbollah” during Hezbollah’s war against Israel in 2006.

· The Brotherhood glorifies Osama bin Laden. Osama is “in all certainty, a mujahid (heroic fighter), and I have no doubt in his sincerity in resisting the occupation, close to Allah on high.” —Former Muslim Brotherhood Supreme Guide Muhammed Mahdi Akef, Nov. 2007

· The Brotherhood “sanctioned martyrdom operations in Palestine.…They do not have bombs, so they turn themselves into bombs. This is a necessity.” — Muslim Brotherhood Spiritual leader Yusuf al-Qaradawi, Dec. 17, 2010

· The Brotherhood advocates violent jihad: The “change that the [Muslim] nation seeks can only be attained through jihad and sacrifice and by raising a jihadi generation that pursues death just as the enemies pursue life,” said Muslim Brotherhood Supreme Guide Muhammed Badi in a September 2010 sermon.[11] Major terrorists came out of the Muslim Brotherhood, including bin Laden’s deputy Ayman al-Zawahiri and Khalid Sheikh Mohammed (mastermind of the 9/11 attacks).

· The Brotherhood advocates a deceptive strategy in democracies: appear moderate and use existing institutions to gain power. “The civilizational-jihadist process…is a kind of grand jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and ‘sabotaging’ its miserable house…so that it is eliminated and God’s religion is made victorious overall other religions,” reads a US Muslim Brotherhood 1991
document. It believes it can conquer Europe peacefully: “After having been expelled twice, Islam will be victorious and reconquer Europe....I am certain that this time, victory will be won not by the sword but by preaching and [Islamic] ideology.” — Muslim Brotherhood Spiritual leader Yusuf al-Qaradawi, “Fatwa,” 2003

· The Brotherhood uses democracy, but once in power it will replace democracy with fundamentalist shariah law because it is the “true democracy.” “The final, absolute message from heaven contains all the values which the secular world claims to have invented....Islam and its values antedated the West by founding true democracy.”
—Former Muslim Brotherhood Supreme Guide Muhammed Mahdi Akef, Nov. 2007

· The Brotherhood’s view of women’s rights is to subjugate and segregate women: The ideal society would include “a campaign against ostentation in dress and loose behaviour…segregation of male and female students; private meetings between men and women, unless within the permitted degrees of relationship, to be counted as a crime for which both will be censured…prohibition of dancing and other such pastimes." —Muslim Brotherhood founder Hassan al-Banna, “Five Tracts”

· The Brotherhood supports Female Genital Mutilation: “[the Americans] wage war on Muslim leaders, the traditions of its faith and its ideas. They even wage war against female circumcision, a practice current in 36 countries, which has been prevalent since the time of the Pharaohs.” —Former Muslim Brotherhood Supreme Guide Muhammed Mahdi Akef, 2007

· The Brotherhood will not treat non-Muslim minorities, such as Coptic Christians, as equals. “Allah's word will reign supreme and the infidels' word will be inferior.” —Muslim Brotherhood Supreme Guide Muhammed Badi, Sept. 2010

· The Brotherhood refuses to commit to continuing the Israel-Egypt peace treaty. ]Muslim Brotherhood leaders have said that “as far as the movement is concerned, Israel is a Zionist entity occupying holy Arab and Islamic lands...and we will get rid of it no matter how long it takes.” —Former Muslim Brotherhood Supreme Guide Muhammed Mahdi Akef, 2005 and 2007

· The Brotherhood has anti-Semitic roots. It supported the Nazis, organized mass demonstrations against the Jews with slogans promoting ethnic cleansing like “Down with the Jews!” and “Jews get out of Egypt and Palestine!” in 1936; carried out a violent pogrom against Egypt’s Jews in November 1945; and made sure that Nazi collaborator and Palestinian Mufti al-Husseini was granted asylum in Egypt in 1946.

· The Brotherhood remains virulently anti-Semitic. “Today the Jews are not the Israelites praised by Allah, but the descendants of the Israelites who defied His word. Allah was angry with them and turned them into monkeys and pigs….There is no doubt that the battle in which the Muslims overcome the Jews [will come]....In that battle the Muslims will fight the Jews and kill them." —Muslim Brotherhood Spiritual leader Yusuf al-Qaradawi

Is this okay these people are in charge in our government?

Due to lack of answers to any and all of my logical and valid questions you resort to copy-pasting some more - and unrelated (as they don't answer any of the questions) texts regarding this terrorist organization. I conclude, hence, that you're not willing or able to give meaningful answers. thank you!

Patricia Martinez (63)
Sunday April 10, 2016, 5:44 pm

Copy-paste is not a bad word. And it certainly doesn't invalidate the information. The Muslim Brotherhood is by almost all objective accounts a terrorist, supremacist, globalist, organization, bent on taking over every country it can.

Even many Arab (Muslim) countries have ruled it illegal and expelled it -- and if that isn't a testament tod how much it stinks and alienates those it comes into contact with, because it tries to take over, then it's difficult to imagine a more forceful statement of its tactics and goals.

So much more can be written. This but an introduction to the cancer of the Muslim Brotherhood, with its many umbrella organizations already operating here in the U.S. and elsewhere and lying like snakes.

Patricia - do you believe that in repeating what I've said umpteen times before in so many threads: that the Muslim Brotherhood IS a terrorist organization SUPPORTED by the US and other Western Governments ... is really an answer to my logical and valid questions further up?!

May I refresh your memory? It is the US Government who REFUSES to label them as a terrorist group since years!! But as I have realized in a number of threads with you acknowledging reality and facts are foreign ideas to you.

So ... again ... CUI BONO?!?!

Patricia Martinez (63)
Monday April 11, 2016, 1:10 pm

Many have an agenda to destroy the U.S., and are situated to do that. The Muslim Brotherhood has such an agenda, aided by people in government who seek the same agenda.

Very sad and frightening. The U.S. may never arise from this.

The other countries who have ejected the Muslim Brotherhood had the power to do so without the red tape that our country has entangled itself in.

The mask is coming off.

Eleonora Oldani (37)
Monday April 11, 2016, 3:42 pm

Patricia - can I ask you a very straight forward question and I ask you equally to take no offense as this is not my intention: for lack of a better word ... are you truly such a "block-head" or are you just playing one? The US government and its allies are using the willing MBs as the useful idiots (which they undoubtedly are!!!) in order to further the US agenda especially in the ME.

Allow yourself just for one second to reflect on these questions - and non, you don't need to answer:

- Why did the US support and push the MBs in Egypt to power? (Something the MBs were yearning for since decades and therefore willingly entered all kind of dirty deals as we know today?)

- Why did and does the US support and push the extremists in Libya to power and obstruct in any possible way the moderates from coming to power?

- Why did and does the US support the so-called rebels in Syria which then morphed into ISIS (and other splinter groups) which is, by admission of your government and by the CIA, funded, trained and armed by your government? Why do they support the "moderate terrorist" as if there is such a construct?

- Why does the US support the Iranian regime? What is the truth behind it?

- Why does the US support unwavering the Saudi Arabian regime and their extreme and distorted ideology – Wahhabism - and allows its spread unhindered full well knowing what they teach?

- Why did the US support the fundamentalists in Tunisia?

- Why does the US support the fundamentalists in Turkey?

- Why does the US support and finance those in Iraq who promote sectarianism?

- And while talking about supporting Muslim extremists one should also talk about why does the US support the extremist agenda in Israel?

Cui Bono, Patricia?

And a very last question: why does the US (and many of its citizens) believe it is their right to topple any and all regimes which they feel doesn't serve their purpose anymore and make the people of those countries pay the price for their dirty politics ... a price which ultimately the people of the world pay? What on earth can possibly justify such an outright criminal behavior and bombard countries to smithereens under the disguise of "bringing Freedom and Democracy"?

Wow, just seeing this now. Have been on duty and busy. Not much time for computer.

I think the answer to your first set of questions is completely self-evident, given who is heading this administration.

To your second question, which is a good one, it is far more complex and a systemic one, one that does not yield necessarily to simplistic answers. I cannot totally disagree with your conclusion.

I will be on duty for much of the next month and will only be able to infrequently be on the computer. Forgive any delays in responses.

Patricia - you may or may not put a lot of blame onto the Obama Administration but the cuddling up to the MBs goes far back into GWBush's and Bill Clinton's time. There are video and pic evidence of GWB receiving their top leaders in the WH (2004 and 2005) although through a side entrance. But that doesn't change an iota on the facts. Remember that 2005 as an "election" year in Egypt and ... surprise ;-) ... Hosni Mubarak won again - LOL.
