Why does it always come down to the taxpayers - why should they have to foot the bill - they did not want the war - why not put it on Bush's expense account??????????

Remember Rumsfeld announcing on Sept 10, 2001 that the Pentagon couldn't account for $2.3 Trillion. Well, I can sort of understand how that little fact might have gotten lost the next day.
The Bush regime was selected, not elected. I would think that would let taxpayers off the hook, myself.
