Capturing a baby elephant and holding it to ransom is grisly and depressing, but it is reality as humans and elephants fight for space. People need to know why this is happening. The cause is an innocently named product called PALM OIL.

Call on governments throughout the world to recognize the urgency of this crisis and to provide sufficient initiative and investment for securing a viable future for the endangered Asian elephant, its habitat of high biodiversity, and for the local communities that co-exist with elephants.

This is one of the greediest and most cruel and disgusting things I've seen in a very long time! It needs to stop NOW before they end up causing the death of many innocent creatures who depend on palm oil for their very existence! I signed the petition and I encourage EVERYONE to do the SAME! The GREED needs to stop before it's too late! I almost cried when I saw that elephant with a chain on his neck, captive and unable to roam as God intended, while HUMANS ONCE AGAIN show their total disrespect for other beings with which they co-exist! Unacceptable human behavior, in my opinion!!

The companies behind the destruction should be the ones paying! There must be harder rules for these companies and the least they could do is stand up to their responsibilities!
Thanks Desanka! This is horrible

human greed and the corrupt human heart cause others misery. no wonder it grieved God's heart so much He sent a flood. next time He will send fire. Amen so be it. this poor precious baby, no doubt they killed his mother too. savage stupid greedy bastards. heartless people! how could they torture this baby so wickedly and have no pity at all? May God destroy those who destroy His creatures. Revelations11:18.

This is a terrible conflict between people and animals. Our population really has become an infestation of the planet. We really do need population control. These people who's crops are being ruined by elephants are very unfortunate I know, but there is hardly an land left for elephants any more compared to what they used to have.
