Wikileaks is on the list of nominees for the 2011 Nobel Peace Prize - but with 240 other contenders, the competition will be fierce. The Nobel Committee never reveals the names of nominees. But those who make nominations are allowed to do so and

Once again it is not the powerful arm of the law and justice, rather the powerful arm of politics that has changed the scenario.
The Nobel Committee is no exception when it comes to arm twisting, and politics continues its wanton attack on Julian Assange of WikiLeaks from Nobel Committee to India and beyond.
Negativity will not deter Julian Assange, and his injustice will be recorded in history books, and in my opinion he will be more popular than ever before. Unfortunately this is not the first time Assange was dethroned, Time and Newsweek did not name him the title of Man of the Year.
As far as I am concerned Julian Assange is WikiLeaks and WikiLeaks is Julian Assange.
You cannot bring down the greatest journalist in the entire journalist history.
Assange has done great service for humanity, mankind, free speech, and freedom of press.
