A burgeoning population of huge pythons _ many of them pets that were turned loose by their owners when they got too big _ appears to be wiping out large numbers of raccoons, opossums, bobcats and other mammals in the Everglades.

This is an interesting story that needs close follow-up, but I am not sure that humans should take any action at this moment in time, nature usually does a good job of looking after itself.

unfortunately humans have done a too good job of screwing up nature..... but the good news is i just read that the remaining Pythons are reuniting to work on a new project, minus Graham Chapman of course.
