Less than one week ago, Sebastian, an emaciated five-year-old stray dog curled up in the back of a rural Georgia shelter refused to eat, drink or move; he no longer wanted to live. Saved by Rescue Dogs Rock NYC. :-( Fly with the angels Sebastian.

May the bastards who did this to him suffer a far worse fate, a fate where each day of their lives is filled with pain, suffering and absolute misery. This poor poor angel, RIP Sebastian. My thanks to the amazing animal angels who tried to help him.

I watched with tears in eyes. I confer I don't always like to have the music that is so often played as it feels intrusive but that is not the main point here. Although what I want to happen to people who inflict so much pain and suffering will never happen it is obvious that something does need to happen. Personally I have no use for people like this and wish them to die be it slowly or not. They are useless pieces of scum in my mind. Knowing that will not happen in the eyes of the law I agree that a registry is needed. One of the roadblocks there is that so many abusers go unfound and/or unpunished. Still one is needed, a nationwide one that can be cross-referenced , for this who are known. It will no fix everything but will help.

The only good thing I can say here is that at the very least, Sebastian was able to die a genre death with people who truly cared for and about him. This is euthanasia, a kind and gentle way to receive a gentle death; it is not dying in gas chambers or being killed in a thoughtless "shelter". It is such an overused word and it drives me berserk. This is the true meaning of what euthanasia is-dying peacefully. I am grateful he got to have that instead of dying in the streets alone.
