Rampant exploitation and slavery of workers in the cocoa industry continues. About 3.6 million children work on cocoa farms, earning very little to no pay under horrific conditions.

Noted and signed. In my opinion "fair trade" should not just be an option but a mandatory business model of ethical business practices. Fair trade should be a law since non fair trade usurps laws. and is not fair.

This is annoying. I am really bothered that something so sweet is now completely bitter.

Some people have listened already! Cadbury Dairy Milk is now Fair Trade Certified in Canada and you have the chance to win a trip to Ghana to see firsthand what life is like in a fair trade cocoa farm and community. Follow our Fair Trade activity on Facebook and Twitter @dairymilkcanada.
